Eicoff Day @ the Chicago Food Depository

Every once in a while it’s a good idea to cancel all those meetings, close up the laptop and venture out of the office to do some greater good. And that’s what happened on February 7th. It was another Eicoff Half-Day at the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

It’s here that food is sorted, packed and distributed to needy families and community programs each and every day. All striving to feed the hungry while ending hunger in our neighborhoods. Thanks to everyone for their participation. In our time at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, Eicoff filled 2,819 bags off brown rice and 223 cases of food-drive boxes. All for a grand total of 17,368 pounds of packed-up goods.
